Collection: More spices

Depeperwinkel offers a wide range  spices in addition to the wide range of peppers and pseudo peppers. Here too, these spices have a 'story', such as the green cardamom that offers Guatemalan farmers a new perspective now that the coffee and pineapple market hardly offers them any security of existence.

It is not a static assortment. New spices are added regularly, such as soon korarima,  another member of the cardamom family.

Are you a fan of mulled wine Make your own spice mix, from  orange peel (unsprayed), star anise, green cardamom, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla and coriander seed. Prefer 'basic'?

Take Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom and star anise. Proportion per  bottle of wine  of 750 ml: 1 stick of Ceylon cinnamon or  2 teaspoons cinnamon sticks (not too generous!), 4-5 cloves, 3-4 large cardamoms, 1-2 star anise pods.
