Collection: Even more spices

Depeperwinkel offers a variety of spices in addition to the wide range of peppers and pseudo peppers. Here too, these spices have a 'story', such as the green cardamom, which offers the Guatemalan farmers new prospects now that the coffee and pineapple markets hardly offer them any security of existence.

It is not a static assortment. New spices are added regularly, such as korarima, another member of the cardamom family.

Are you a fan of mulled wine ? Make your own spice mixture from orange peel (unsprayed), star anise, green cardamom, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla and coriander seed. Prefer 'basic'?

Take Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom and star anise. Proportions per 750 ml bottle of wine: 1 stick of Ceylon cinnamon or 2 teaspoons of cinnamon buds (not too generous!), 4-5 cloves, 3-4 large cardamoms, 1-2 star anise fruits.
